The decision of US Treasury Department to include the name of the leader in the Popular Resistance Movement, Sheikh Al-Hassan Abkar, in the list of supporters of terrorism in the Arabian Peninsula, has erupted anger in the Yemeni street and it was denounced in various media means.
The decision is a resounding scandal that reveals to the world that those who sincerely and seriously stand against al-Houthi militias are expected to be accused of terrorism and to be included in the list of supporters of terrorism. There is no any earlier charge against Sheikh Al-Hassan Abkar proving his involvement in terrorism except his position against the Iranian-Persian scheme that targets Islam.
Therefore, the Al-Jawf Media Center condemns this false accusation and demands that the President, Vice President and Prime Minister issue a statement condemning these false accusations and assigning the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of our country in Washington to quickly submit a protest to the US administration against the decision and ask them to remove the name of Sheikh Abkar from the list.
Al-Jawf Media Center also calls on all Yemeni political forces, civil society organizations, media and activists to denounce this American conduct as Americans directed their arrows to the noble people of Yemen and left the killers of women and children, criminals and human rights violators.
