We condemn and denounce the US Treasury decision to include, Sheikh Al-Hassan Abkar, in the list of supporters of terrorist groups, and we consider this as an attack against the patriotic figures that fought against injustice and brutality of the coup militias.
We confirm that the US Treasury received false and misleading information from parties that target moderate-minded figures. The targeting of a patriotic person like Al-Hassan Abkar, who believes in the peaceful political action as a way to gain power and living together, and whom all Yemenis have known as a brave patriotic fighter and a common social personality, is in the interest of the coup militias, which practiced the worst forms of terrorism that is unprecedented in the Yemeni history. We demand that the Yemeni government takes a clear position towards these decisions that caused harm to Yemeni citizens who stood beside the legitimacy.
